🥦Ingredients

200 g Tofu

70 g ground meat

Green onion

Cornstarch

Water

🧂Seasoning

Ginger (10 g)

Doubanjiang (2 tbsp)

Sugar (1/2 tsp)

Sichuan pepper

Crushed pepper

Thai chili

🔢Directions

  1. Let tofu expel water by putting a weight on top

  2. Cut tofu into small cubes

  3. Stir-fry ground meat

  4. Chop up doubanjiang

  5. In a pan, add cooking oil and heat until smoking

  6. Add crushed pepper, cut sichuan pepper, chopped ginger, cut thai chili

  7. Add doubanjiang and fry over low heat

  8. Add water and thicken with cornstarch to make sauce

  9. Adjust the salinity with soy sauce

  10. Add tofu and sugar and simmer for 10 minutes

  11. Add ground meat and keep warm for about an hour to let flavors seep in

  12. Serve with tofu and sauce over a bed of rice (optional), then green onions, then ground sichuan pepper, then chili oil (optional)
