Corn on the cob

Cut kernels from a corn on the cob
In a pan, saute half of a carrot with butter and add flour
To a saucepan, add the roux, ⅔ of the kernels, and broth
Blend, then add cobs, and simmer for 30 minutes
Strain and flavor the soup with salt, add the remaining kernels to the soup
Garnish with parsley
