🥦Ingredients

Fermented napa cabbage

Pork ribs

Frozen tofu (optional)

Sweet potato noodles (optional)

Cooking oil

Sugar

Rice vinegar

Water

🧂Seasoning

Salt

Bouillon

Soy sauce

Sesame oil

Garlic

Ginger

Negi

Green onion

Star anise

Sichuan pepper

🔢Directions

  1. Make dipping sauce with soy sauce, chopped garlic, sesame oil and diluted to taste with water

  2. Soak sweet potato noodles if using any

  3. Slice fermented napa cabbage

  4. Brown pork ribs in an air fryer or a wok with cooking oil

  5. In a wok or pot, add cooking oil, sliced ginger, sliced negi, star anise

  6. Fry until slightly brown, then add water and bouillon or stock and salt, sichuan pepper, and frozen tofu. Don’t fully season at this step

  7. Simmer for 45 minutes, add sweet potato noodles when almost done

  8. Finish with a little bit of sugar, adjust salinity with bouillon or salt to taste. Adjust acidity to taste with rice vinegar

  9. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve
