Hard tofu

Wood ear mushroom

Green bell peppers

Rapeseed oil

🧂Seasoning

Doubanjiang

Soy sauce

Sugar

Ginger

Garlic

🔢Directions

  1. Cut vegetables

  2. Parboil wood ear mushroom

  3. Press water out of tofu with a weight

  4. Fry tofu in oil over high heat to establish crust

  5. To a heated pan of rapeseed oil, add garlic, ginger

  6. Remove from heat and add chopped doubanjiang then keep stirring until fragrant

  7. Add water and soy sauce, then simmer for 10 minutes

  8. Strain sauce, then add tofu and simmer for another 10 minutes

  9. Reduce the sauce

  10. Add green bell peppers and wood ear mushroom

  11. Serve
