🥦Ingredients

Sliced pork short ribs

Green onions

Cornstarch

Baking soda

Cooking oil

Water

🧂Seasoning

Sugar

Douchi

Garlic

Thai chili

Soy sauce

Oyster sauce

🔢Directions

  1. Cut pork ribs into bite size pieces

  2. Marinade pork ribs with baking soda for 2 hours, then rinse off until meat appears white

  3. Soak dried douchi in water

  4. Squeeze water out of ribs

  5. In a mixing bowl, marinade ribs with sugar, soaked douchi, grated garlic, soy sauce and oyster sauce

  6. Set excess marinade liquid aside, then coat ribs with cornstarch

  7. Add marinade liquid back and mix well

  8. Coat ribs with oil to prevent sticking

  9. Steam for 12 minutes over high heat

  10. Garnish with thai chili and green onions, then serve
