Chicken wings (600 g -> 500 g)

Water

Cooking oil (50 g)

Cornstarch

🧂Seasoning

Ginger (15 g)

Green onion

Star anise (1 count)

Soy sauce (25 ml)

Sugar (8 g)

Shaoxing wine (50 g)

White peppertsp)

🔢Directions

  1. In a measuring cup, mix soy sauce, sugar and shaoxing wine

  2. In a wok, add cooking oil, ginger and star anise

  3. When aromatic, add chicken wings and stir-fry until slightly brown

  4. Add mixed sauce, white pepper and water until the chicken wings are fully covered

  5. Reduce water until the sauce is sticky while stirring occasionally, for about 30 minutes

  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion, then serve
