Cut pork ribs into bite size pieces #. Marinade pork ribs with baking soda for 2 hours, then rinse off until meat appears white #. Soak dried douchi in water #. Squeeze water out of ribs #. In a mixing bowl, marinade ribs with sugar, soaked douchi, grated garlic, soy sauce and oyster sauce #. Set excess marinade liquid aside, then coat ribs with cornstarch #. Add marinade liquid back and mix well #. Coat ribs with oil to prevent sticking #. Steam for 12 minutes over high heat #. Garnish with thai chili and green onions, then serve
