With the back of a knife, scrape burdock root to clean #. Cut burdock root and carrots on the bias, then julienne #. In a pan, stir fry sliced burdock root and carrots with sesame oil for a few minutes #. To the pan, add soy sauce and sugar, mix well, then steam over low heat with lid on for 5 minutes #. Plate and sprinkle some sesame seeds #. Serve
